Environment Agency Nuclear New Build Deputy Programme Manager
I lead the Environment Agency’s team working on EDF’s proposed new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C. I've been in this role since May 2010. In this job I coordinate the work of almost every technical function we have. It is one of the most challenging professional roles of the 24 years I've spent regulating UK industry. I began work in the waste sector, since then my roles have encompassed the wider major industries and water sector too. Like most EA staff I've also have a role in major incidents such as Foot & Mouth Disease and the flooding of 2014.
