Nick Jones is a Senior Technical Advisor for the Mutual Aid and Visualisation theme within the Major Incident Ready Programme at the Environment Agency. He joined in September 2015 as a data visualisation specialist, and then became a senior advisor for mutual aid and visualisation systems the next year. After the winter floods of 2015, he set up a project to increase situational awareness during incidents, and to improve data capture and analysis by the Environment Agency post-incident.
