My name is Louise Pearce, I am based at the National Laboratory Service in Exeter. When I left school I joined the National Rivers Authority working in the operations support team. In 1998 I joined the microbiology team as a lab technician. I am now a proud scientist in the microbiology and molecular team and recently passed an Open University access course with a distinction.
