I joined the Environment Agency in 2012 as a Customers & Engagement Officer managing our Area's relationship with our local authorities. In 2015 I became the Customers & Engagement Team Leader and moved into my current role as the Sampling & Collection Team Leader in 2018. My current team undertake fish and ecological surveys, measure the height of groundwater and collect water samples for chemical analysis. Alongside my day job I also lead the Thames Area Floating Pennywort Action Group and the Thames Area Biosecurity Group.
