Nick Everard is a hydro-acoustics technical adviser in the Environment Agency’s Monitoring Technical Services team. He led the project to develop the remote controlled ARC-Boat, which collects information about flow, depth and sediment in rivers. He has worked at the Environment Agency for over 20 years and has extensive experience in operational hydrometry and telemetry (monitoring water levels and flow rates in rivers).
